A self-taught woodworker, Rob Cart has been making and selling furniture for 25 years. Trained as an architectural engineer, he spent 15 years in the construction field, primarily renovating older homes. Rob's renovation projects always sold before completion. Buyers often cited his custom cabinetry and architectural accents as major selling points.

After building his family's dream home in Saluda, NC, Rob turned to furniture making full time. The family divides their time between Saluda and Atlanta. Rob maintains workshops in both locations.

Rob's favorite woods are mahogany, heart pine, cherry and walnut, but he enjoys creating anything that you desire as long as it's wood. He has produced some very handsome pieces from maple and oak.

He can design for any taste or style, but much of his work is antique reproduction. Many clients come to Rob because they want to duplicate a family piece or they are looking for companion pieces.

Most furniture is created for repeat customers who appreciate quality craftsmanship.
